CONCRETE CARE

Do not drive on the new concrete for at least 7 days
Do not allow drain water to undermine the slab and cause settlement cracks
Do not allow snow and ice to accumulate on the slab and cause settlement cracks
Do not allow the use of de-icing chemicals for snow and ice removal during the frist year.
Never use de-icer contatining fertilizers (i.e ammonium sulface, ammonium nitrate) sand can be used for traction.
Promptly remove the build up of snow and ice in winter and clear off areas where de-icing salts drop from vehicles
If waer shows in high traffic areas (as sometimes happens over a few years) clean the surface and reseal for furthure protection
Concrete is sealed after competion of job but concrete should be resealed every two to three years.
